I believe that we are all creative in our own way. Despite this, many people have yet to recognize how their creativity manifests itself in the work they do. This is why the CREATIVE STRENGTHS RECOGNITION PROCESS is not just for artists or designers, but also for anyone who wants to realize their own creative strengths and talents and then how integrate these creative strengths and talents into the work they do.
The CREATIVE STRENGTHS RECOGNITION PROCESS is a person – centred, visual arts based process, which begins with a complimentary two - hour consultation process. This consultation will inform the three phases of the CREATIVE STRENGTHS RECOGNITION PROCESS, Creative Knowing, Creative Connections and Creative Effects.
Each of the three phases, serve a different function.
- In the first phase Creative Knowing you will identify your creative strengths.
- During the second phase Creative Connections you will discover how to integrate these creative strengths into your respective professional practice.
- In the final phase Creative Effects you will be provided with the tools and methods for assessing your revised practice.
Each phase in the CREATIVE STRENGTHS RECOGNITION PROCESS is comprised of two sessions. In the first session, you will engage in and explore a variety of customized creative process exercises with the aid of guiding questions. Prior to the second session you will have the opportunity to reflect on how these creative process exercises will affect your professional practice through a series of reflective questions.
Clients will be encouraged to use a visual journal to complete the creative process exercises and reflections. The visual journal can be paper based (journal, sketchbook) or can be digital (photo, video, blog).
NOTE: The CREATIVE STRENGTHS RECOGNITION PROCESS can also be customized for Educators and Care Givers.
NOTE: The CREATIVE STRENGTHS RECOGNITION PROCESS is not an art therapy program or service
