CREATIVE WELLNESS
The following therapeutic arts and creative wellness processes are designed for those who want new ways to explore personal – growth, stress reduction and overall mental wellness. To facilitate these therapeutic arts and creative wellness processes a range of media from drawing to digital imaging will be utilized.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND WELLNESS
CREATIVE WELLNESS THROUGH THE LENS uses photographic and / or photo - based therapeutic processes to address such issues as stress reduction, personal – growth and mental wellness. The process begins with a complimentary 45-minute exploration process. This exploration process will inform the creative interventions and considerations unique to each person.

The CREATIVE WELLNESS ONE – TO – ONE process, has been developed for those who want new ways to explore personal – growth, stress reduction and overall mental wellness. To ensure that this process is the right fit for your needs we will come together for a forty – five minute exploration process. From here we will collectively determine the next steps such as, the appropriate creative interventions and considerations, number of one hour long sessions, in-person or virtually and the focus of each session. No art making experience is required to participate in this process.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND WELLNESS
The CREATIVE WELLNESS THROUGH CONNECTIONS process has been developed for communities and / or organizations who support seniors who want to feel included and part of the larger community. Along with programs for seniors, the CREATIVE WELLNESS THROUGH CONNECTIONS process can also be customized for other groups or communities who want offer creative wellness workshops for their clients or participants. To facilitate this there will be a one – hour complimentary exploration process. This exploration process will inform the creative interventions and considerations unique to each group or organizational needs.

ABOUT
Although new to this practice as a Therapeutic Arts Practitioner, I bring more than twenty years of experience designing and facilitating community arts and disability arts programs for a diverse range of learners. Paralleling these experiences is my work in the human services sector assisting and supporting persons with diverse abilities. Complementing and informing this new practice is a diverse educational background that includes the following.
Master of Education in Adult Education
Bachelor of Education (Visual Arts Specialist)
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Arts
Therapeutic Arts Practitioner Certificate (CIIAT)
